Cost
Both the initial and ongoing costs of a
hosted system are lower based upon our economies
of scale. The cost of software licenses and
hardware can be virtually eliminated. Ongoing,
the costs of maintenance is lower in a hosted
environment.
Client server accounting systems
generally require a dedicated servers with
minimum requirements for memory and
processing. Access to multi-processor
servers with more memory and all required
operating system software is included in our
monthly rental price.
We upgrade the software for all of our
clients simultaneously so you always have
the latest version of the software. We also
upgrade our hardware to meet the changing
software requirements.
Clients can use our professionals to
mitigate internal staffing costs associated
with running complex accounting software as
we maintain and troubleshoot not only
software, but also hardware related issues.
Rented systems can be deducted against
current year income as opposed to purchased
or self developed systems which must be
capitalized and depreciated over the useful
life of the software
Technology Obsolescence
As software companies upgrade their products,
they stop providing support for older versions.
I-BN will upgrade your software in a time timely
manner. Your software will never be obsolete.
Support
Our support professionals can use screen
sharing technology to see the same images as
your users see on their monitor. This enhances
our ability to both train and troubleshoot
without expensive travel or on-site visits.
Platform Independence
Most accounting software runs only on a
Windows platform and may not be compatible with
older networking systems like Unix, Novell and
Banyan. When your software is hosted most
equipment and networks can access our service
with an internet connection. I-BN ASP customers
access the system from Apple computers, Linux
desktops and Novell networks.
Reduced Implementation Time
As the hardware and accounting software are
already installed, the implementation time is
significantly reduced compared to a traditional
implementation.
